        Once again for the 5th week in a row, 3 new drivers registered for the race at Richmond International Speedway, Todd Sipe driver of the 77 Chevy-Monte SS headed north from florida to test his skills at the 3/4 of mile track. Mike Whited hailing from Rock Island, Illinois had also came along way. But the story of the night, out of retirement trying to resurrect his Pro-Cup Late-Model Career Captured his 1st win back. With David Lam out from a mild concussion testing with Alex Papini, Ty Spearman sat on the outside row with a time of 21.775 but was edged out by Mark Arthur's time of 21.727. After Mark spun on lap 1, John Battista led the next 14 laps. John Battista got loose coming out of turn 4 which handed the lead to Ty who led the remaining 85 laps.
